Power out!

Our area experienced a bad storm on Tuesday this week.  What do you do when the electricity flickers on/off and then goes out for about 3 hrs. and all you have is the natural light from the window to see?  Well ..... applique, why not!  That is exactly what I did.

Six rows are now done on my circle top.  For some reason, I just can't get a good photo of this project on the design wall.
Oh well ....

Cherish your day, cherish your life!

Losing power for a while makes you appreciate what our ancestors had to put up with, doesn't it......no switch to flick on for light, just candles or the light from the window. Your project is looking good!

I really really love your Red Sampler. Wow!
And I like the way these circles are working out too. It reminds me of the 365 Circles project I did a couple of years ago. It was a little addictive making the circles and I missed it when it was done.

I always love all the colour you put into your scrappy quilts. They produce joy and calm.
