This quilt, to me, was the Best of Show! Absolutely stunning.

This is the first time that I encountered so many quilts that had machine embroidery on them. Is this the new phase of quilts to come?
I won't be popping out to buy an embroidery machine, but these quilts are to be admired for the time and workmanship involved and they are gorgeous!

There were several quilts at the show I attended last weekend that were embroidery machined also. I'm with you, in that I'm not going to rush out and buy one.
Yes I think it is much more interesting to have the backing different to the front, I always try to do that. And I agree with you I am not going to rush out and buy an embroidery machine.
