Fall Exchange, part deux!

Please skip over to Guðrún’s blog www.atsugan.blogspot.com and take a peek at her quilt that I recently mailed to her.

There was a bit of struggle getting this quilt out the door. My hubby didn’t want this one to go and asked if I could make something else for Guðrún. Jeepers!

Have a great day!

I can see why your hubby didn't want it to leave your home. It's absoloutely stunning Rose Marie.

I agree with hubby - that is gorgeous! The leaves are spectacular - how did you do them? The colors in the leaves is amazing and all the quilting is beautiful. Terrific job!

Love the hand quilting on this quilt! Great job with the leaves. I wouldn't mind hearing how you did those myself. Are you sharing?

Your poor hubby! There are times when we should listen to our husbands, however, in this case I would have mailed that off, too. Then I would get real busy making hubby one just like it so he knows that his wishes are important, too.

My husband doesn't say much about quilts that are given away. I wonder if he will ever ask me to keep one that he loves? Thanks for sharing this story. It's got me thinking that I need to get my Thimbleberries quilt done. It's meant for our bed and it will be the first that we will have, just for the two of us.
