EPP and Hand Piecing Quilts

How much do I love EPP (English Paper Piecing)?  Lots and lots and lots.  Hand Piecing?  Tried it once for one quilt and that was enough for me.    I found EPP and that was it, case closed.

"Lover's Knot" .... my one and only hand piecing quilt (block from Electric Quilt).

"Sky Jewels" (Quilt It for Christmas 2006 magazine - designer Gail Cole of Odessa, Texas)

Embroidered Flowers on EPP (block from Blockbase)

 Small Klosjes (block from Blockbase)

I loved making Small Klosjes so much that a bigger one just had to be made!

"Flowers in a castle garden" (photo from a magazine).

"An Old Fashion Garden" (leftover hexagons from above quilt and embroidery from "Beautiful Botanicals" by Deborah Kemball)

"Hexie a go-go"

This is the start of when my EPP quilts were machine quilted by a long armer.  If I wanted to enjoy my quilts, then they had to be machine quilted.  Life is too short to have my quilts sit as tops on a shelf.

"A Garden of Kites!"  Partly EPP and partly machine pieced. (pattern from Electric Quilt)

"Cherry on Top" (pattern from a blog that no longer exists)

"Oh Wonderful, Summer's Here!" (pattern from Blockbase)

"Celestial Stars" (adapted from book "Quilting on the Go" by Sharon Burgess)

Apple Core quilts (pattern from Blockbase)

Split Apple Core (from a pinterest photo)

Half Hexagons (from a magazine photo)

"Border Flowers" (my design)

"Snowflakes" (my design)

Hexagon tote bag (my design)

"My Corona Flowers" (my design)

"Diamond Star" (from EQ - Electric Quilt software program)

"Wheels on the Cart" (my design featuring the wheels which were done using EPP)

"Ozark Cobblestone" (blocks found in EQ7 and Blockbase)

"Pyramids" (using EQ7 software)

"Dilly Flowers"

"Summer Picnic" (my design)

There are more EPP tops that are waiting to go to a long armer for machine quilting and they will be added to this page as they are finished.

Are there more EPP projects already in the works/or as ufo's?  Oh yes ...... there are!
