Donated Quilts-Cotton Candy

Back in December last year, I made two quilts and gave them to another niece (I have a lot of nieces) to be used in a raffle draw to help raise funds for an upcoming school trip as well as for purchasing school playground equipment.

Trip Around The World is one of my favourite patterns and I’ve made a number of them now. I needed something quick and easy and what other pattern meets these requirements.

This quilt was machine quilted … very simply (SID).

Have a great day!

I really like your colors! I've been making lots of Around the World quilts mini-quilts as prayer quilts this year but everything comes out of my stash and I never plan the colors. Just grab pink if the prayer is going to be for a woman or blue for a man. So boring. I don't even think I have such beautiful colors in my stash! Your's is a beauty!

I've been meaning to try a trip around the world -- now I really have to. Love those colors, looks like a big bowl of candy!

What yummy looking colors in this trip around the world! I love it. I recently bought a trip quilt top at a flea market/antique shop, and quite by accident ended up with a perfect backing fabric. Now just need to get it to my friend with the long arm to get it quilted!(I've ran out of time and have decided to start having some of my work quilted instead of trying to be superwoman and doing it all myself!) Thanks for visiting my blog.

All your quilts are so nice. I love your snow blossom quilt and I am curious to see how you are going to quilt it.
Welcome to the socks knitting club! With the beautiful wool around I think it is a pleasure to knit socks these days.
And congratulations on your Trip around the World, I hope it can raise a lot of money. Take care.
