I just couldn't think up a better name, so "Dotty Dots" it is. After seeing my friend, Darlene make a circle quilt, it inspired me to make one too.
Since it is National Pi Day .... this is the perfect quilt to show. Lots and lots of circles. So why pi and circles? Because pi is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter and now you know why there are lots of quilts with circles being shown today. To celebrate, we will have meat pie (tourtiere) and a salad for supper tonight and perhaps a round cookie for dessert.
Quilt Details:Below is another pi quilt to look at. I have lots more quilts with circles on them, but you can go to my files at the top of my blog and peruse them and see how many have been done over the years.
Cherish your day, cherish your life .... because like the people of Ukraine, we will never know when our lives could be shattered!

I love your Dotty Dots! We used to eat tourtiere pie a lot as kids. Happy Pi day to you!
We tried tourtiere - interesting, not quite the same as the meat pies we have her. 'Pi day' isn't quite such a thing here because we write the day first, then the month....but a fun day is always good!
Wow Rosemarie. Both quilts are just breathtaking! My favourite is the second one. Did you link up your finished Postcard from Sweden yet? There’s a firm on my blog to fill out to link it.
i love both quilts........who know it was pi day.......hhmmmm I need to slow down and not miss some things.......
Could not have better words......poor Ukraine........whats a terrible mess their country in in all for the greed of one man........oh how to hate people so badly that you can destroy lives and countries so much........let alone they lives lost of the russians who follow his stupid orders.......
