Some days, a good hour was accomplished; other days just 5 mins. Still, this schedule is really helping me keep at it and that is a good thing! I'm seeing progress and that makes me smile.
This hexagon quilt is about 1/4 of the way done. See the arrow pointing at a piece of black to indicate my starting point for doing diagonal rows? All horizontal rows up to this point have been done and I'm doing diagonal rows in both directions. This has been a great start and I'm hoping to have this done by the end of May. We'll see!
My pumpkin quilt hanging also got worked on and there is just the top border to quilt and it will be ready for finishing. Progress, progress, progress!

You are doing great on all of your projects! I keep telling myself that I'm going to hand quilt every day, but I just don't seem to get it done. I need to follow your lead!
I do love hand quilting!! It takes a long time but so worth it. And, I love the pumpkins. So cute.

I like the quilting on the pumpkins and I have a question. It does not look to me like you are quilting over the pumpkins. How do you accomplish the stopping and starting quilting at each pumpkin? My machine does the lock stitch and I do that, but sometimes it leaves a little nubby where I stopped.
I love both quilts, but have a special fondness for the pumpkins. Congratulations on making such good progress.
I just have to copy your idea of leaving the quilt on a table and working a little every day. I have a hexagon quilt and I always joke and say I started it when I was 15, well, the joke is not funny anymore. Hope you have it done soon to motivate me even further!
