I'm trying my best to get some UFO's finished before New Year's Eve (a challenge that Finn is having) .... but Hank is constantly coming over and climbing onto my quilt frame to see what I've been doing and then settles down for a nap. How can I quilt with her on my quilt? So after some gentle persuasion, she moves off to find a better place to sleep. .... but she is back and has brought a friend. Ashes is waiting her turn to see what I have been doing.
So, you might as well have a peek too!
Have a great day and to my fellow Canadians, Happy Thanksgiving!

This is just too funny. Aren't cats the most curious creatures?

You are hand quilting! ....wow! Cats are terrific companions. They always insist on being involved.

This made me laugh! So typically cat -- have to be involved. They're giving you the kitty paws up seal of approval for your quilt!

I'd like ot know what it is that makes cats sit in front of what you are doing. Even while reading (attempting to at least) the newspaper.
Thanks for showing the blogging world that there are those of us still out there who hand quilt.
A happy turkey day to you too. Ours is in the oven and the aroma is wonderful.

I have often wondered how you can sew at all :) Beautiful quilting as expected!

I feel your kitty pain.. when I was sewing on the machine as soon as I get up from the chair Molly would be on it and was not budging. I know if I pet her enough she gets aggrievated and jumps down.. but really they do give us a break which we probably needed.

UFOs, the bane of our quilting lives, I think they should be renamed "works in progress" or something else that sounds positive. I'm trying to finish one project between each new project but actually just ending up with more and more works in progress! At least I haven't got a kitty to "help" me, just a darling man who needs food and a bit of attention from time to time, Lis
