A nice warm kitty on your legs or lap and some embroidery sounds like the perfect way to deal with winter evenings!!
being a bed for a kitty should keep you sitting still for a while :-)

I notice that Ashes works about as hard as Moggie girl does.
Lots of sleep time built into their schedules.
But they are such good company.
Wow, what a gorgeous jacket! I love it! The embroidery is so nice. I love to embroidery but it seems I can't sit still long enough to get much accomplished!

This is one of the best things about cats, they make great leg and lap warmers, lol, those two certainly have settled in nicely!
