In my last post, Teresa had a question about the block: Was it pieced or all appliqué?
The little squares are hand pieced and the oval piece is appliquéd on last.
More charm packs have been ordered and these blocks are on hold until my parcel arrives sometime this week. I’ve so enjoyed working on these blocks and am glad that this quilt is being stretched into a bed size instead of a wall hanging.
You can be sure there will be more to show on this project sometime down the road. Mind you, I really should be working on my WIP’s ……. oh well. :o)
Have a great day!

I saw your in progress quilt and it looks beautifull.
Hand piecing...that is one thing I have not yet had a go at and would love to try but I worry that my stitching will not ve secure enough....one day...
That quilt is going to be wonderful. I love what you are doing and the fabric choices!
Aha! So that's how you are doing it!!! I have only seen the rulers you can use to get this pattern, but this looks like a more conveniant way - especially since you're not limited to the size of the ruler!
Looking good so far - glad it will be a quilt not a wall-hanging. Great blocks.
This one will take time to finish but will be so precious.
