Bored again

My pumpkin centre is now complete.  The last bit of applique got done and the rows sewn together.  Now it is time for borders.  You know me and my love/hate relationship with borders.  :o)
Another section of apple cores got done.  Only two more sections to go.  I'll be doing a marathon of basting more apple cores.
We were graced with the presence of this guy yesterday up our backyard hill.  Beautiful to see.  Ashes didn't know what to make of it.  She was sort of growling and meowing at the same time and I had to calm her down.
Have a great day!

Love your pumpkin top and admire your progress on the apple cores! I, too, am frustrated with borders after the fun centers are done, LOL!

I am wondering if he is liking some of the new plants you planted this year!!
I love this pumpkin quilt and I remember when you started, I think that you have to do some pieced borders to keep your interest up...get that EQ working for ya

I love borders because they can make or break a quilt.
Both projects are looking fab!

Your pumpkin quilt is so cute! Great progress on your apple cores, too.

Your cores are coming along. We had and fed deer in our backyard a couple of winters but now we are too afraid of them getting hit crossing the street in front of us!
