Progress is good

I have been diligently working on my Sweet Dreams project and more sashings and corner stones have been made. Since I use Crayola Washable markers for marking placement guides on my sashing fabric, they got soaked to remove the markings and then dried and ironed. I just don't want to take a chance and put any heat to the markings. Here is my progress so far. Side setting triangles have been cut out and soon I will start sewing the blocks and rows together. I'm past the halfway mark for this top. Have a great day!

I just love your quilt--and you are making me feel real guilty--I got that book 3 or more years ago--cause I had to make some of the quilts in it--even the one you are doing!!
Have I done any of them--NO--
Have I even started any of them--NO--
but I sure have a pile of projects that are started!!!!
Hugs, Di

You are a risk taker! Getting those lovely sashing strips wet...a nail biter, lol, but you absolutely know what you are doing here - everything seems to work out very well with your method. Still thinking this is one of your prettiest quilts yet - in good company of many of course, lol. Don't put heat on those marker lines is always playing in the back of my mind when I use the blue pen - because you said no heat. :-D
