Doesn't my quilt look gorgeous in the snow? What a contrast! I'm doing the happy dance with this one. All those crazy blocks look like they are coming from the galaxy ... hence my quilt name. Here is another shot ....
... and can I bore you again with another shot (showing the backing)?
This is a good lap size quilt and all from stash. Bonus!
So, this is #1 finish for the year and that is a good thing.
Your quilt looks beautiful in the snow! I love taking outdoor photos, but we still have so much ice here that I've had to take mine inside. Love the colors on your quilt.
What a perfect analogy - great name. I love it. Pretty in the snow, too! I guess it was asking wayyy too much to have Hank and Ashes to appear in THIS photo. hee.
Very pretty. Never thought about laying a quilt in the snow, you are a brave person. Love the colors. I have been busy finishing 3 of my new patterns. One is complete and hope to have the 2nd finished tomorrow.

I like the way you used those fabrics in the border. The total effect is "smashing"!

What a stunning quilt, the colours are glowing in the snow. It makes me wish we got snow just so I can take quilt photos on the stuff.
The snow just makes the colors so vivid...very nice!
Congratulations on your first finish 2011.
