Another top

This is the version of Humble Pie that is in Kim Diehl's book Simple Traditions ........ ..... and this is my version ......
A little bit different, eh! I just loved her applique star flowers in the border and adapted it slightly to suit me.
Yes, another top done ..... and this one is number 3! Our cool fall weather is fast approaching and I need to have projects for hand quilting to work on this fall and winter. It will sure be a hard choice of which one to work on! :o)
Have a great day!

Your quilt is beautiful. I love Kim Diehl's patterns. I am making the Passing Fancy. Not sure it is in the same book as yours. I hand pieced mine and hand quiting it now. Chris

Yours is beautiful. I really like the star flowers too. I have never done a pattern by Kim but I just bought her new book called Simple Comforts. I hope to start a quilt from this book next year.

What a gorgeous quilt, you did a beautiful job on the border. Now I can't wait to see what you're going to be hand quilting.

Your quilt is so beautiful! Fall and Winter are really the right seasons for handquilting, I think you will get all of them done!

I like your version better. No log cabin blocks to distract the eye from the applique. Well done, Rose Marie. Hmm...I have this book. One more quilt to add to the want to do list now that I see how beautiful yours is. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I like you delicate applique adaptation. Actually, I like your quilt more. That business she has in between the rails and the border isn't my favorite part so yes, I love yoursss!!!

Lovely quilt Rose Marie. I love that border too!

great adaptation! Lovin' it! Kim Diehl's patterns are so great - easy to make a beautiful quilt just by following along and just as easy to make it your own as you go.
