This is the quilt currently hanging in our dining room. The quilt sure looks so different hanging up as compared to lying on a bed. You see the whole pattern and not just bits of the design (darn, you would see more if my table was not there).
Your quilt is beautiful. I think you do not ever get the full effect of a quilt on the bed...the wall really showcases the design. Your handquilting is incredible as usual!
I notice that the design shows better on the wall, but the quilting shows better on the bed. Somehow the light changes to bring out the hills and valleys created when it is washed and has that wonderful 'old' look.
Great quilt! The picture of it hanging in the dining room is great-the table and flowers just add to the character of it all. The quilting truly completes the quilt!

It is so beautifull and really scrappy.
Such a pretty quilt. I wish my wall was easier to get to so I could hang quilts on it like you do.
It is just beautiful, did you handquilt it?
That is such a gorgeous pattern, and your quilting is incredible. It really adds to the design. I love it!
Your quilt looks lovely. A great feature for your room.
What a gorgeous quilt, I may be scrappy, but they are all so bright and vigrant. How Lovely!
I like the picture with the table. Gives me some perspective on the quilt and they go so well together.

this is one of my very favorite patterns, but you have left out (artists perogative) some ? of the 4-patches, and how delightful it has become!
