Red/white is a top!

Now that my red and white challenge is a top (sorry ... all my design walls are taken and you are seeing just a portion of the top), it will be put aside until it can be sandwiched. A number of you have asked about the size .... my blocks were increased from 6" to 9" and the quilt when finished will be perfect for a double bed. This is the next UFO that is being worked on ... my pinwheel quilt. You have seen it before in different stages, but it is coming together quickly now. There is only the bottom right section (where you can see all the orange row markers) to be assembled and then the triangle borders to be made and this top will be done too. Perhaps in another week .....
Have a great day!

Your Christmas pinwheel is very impressive, I cannot even imagine doing so many of those!
Thank you for sharing them both, Rose Marie!

Wonderful. What made you decide to make 9" blocks, if I might ask.

Both red and white quilts are progressing nicely. I like to see ideas by other people that are working with red and white! I'd like to start something soon with that color scheme.

What a great border, it looks wonderful. Amazing how it looks like a different pattern in the second photo. Your pinwheel quilt is one I swoon over, worth every stitch.

Oh Rose Marie, both quilts are beautiful. I have to say the piecing part of me really delights in the pinwheel quilt. I really LOVE that. The snuggly part of me adores the snowball quilt. And I'm thinking I love your new makeshift Design Wall!

You mention in closing to have a great day but of course you know we all will after visiting with you!

Kitty pats of luv to Hank and Ashes, *karendianne.

Love both quilts. I like the addition of the striped border on the red/white one. The pinwheel, I lust for. I have the pattern but I am afraid of all those pinwheels.

Your red and white quilt is stunning -- the borders are the crowning touch. The more I see of red and white quilts, the more convinced I am I need to do something in red and white!
