Flying Geese has been Topped!

My flying geese is now a top.  A push was performed to get the last strips sewn together and then decisions made about borders and once they were cut out it took two afternoons to get the borders on.  I'm so happy this is a top now.  It finished at 63-1/2" x 77".  Now to look through Xmas fabrics for backing and I'm thinking of piecing some batting pieces to whittle down a few of those bins.

Now, time to concentrate on another UFO!

Cherish your day, cherish your life, cherish your freedom and cherish your country.  My country will ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS be CANADA!

Elbows up, eh!  BABA

This is a great Christmas quilt! The flying geese blocks are a lot of work but you've got the technique down perfectly. Happy stitching!

Rose Marie, I'm so sorry that you and hubby are having such health issues. I sure hope you can get some help so that you can remain in your home for a while to come. I haven't checked blogs in a long time so I'm behind on the news. Take care.
