A cold snowy day!

Brrr ..... it is really cold today.  The wind is blowing and with the wind chill, it is even colder.  Snow is blowing too.  Hubby is outside with his snowblower.  Yuck.  This is way too early!

We have at least a foot of snow right now.
I've been busy working on my pumpkin top.  It is coming along very nicely.  The addition of the piano key border gives is a lot of zing.  My hubby was looking at it last night and said:  "there is going to be a leaf on each row".  Yep.  Just to give it that something different.
A close-up of the pumpkins.  The centers are all crazy patch.  Getting rid of my scraps!  Gotta love that!
I've got lots to keep me busy.

Have a great day!

What a great way to salvage and use up those odd little scraps. Are your leaves fused and then edge stitched in place? We are in a deep freeze here, as well. Let's hope that an early winter also brings an early spring. Fingers crossed!

Nice to see that snow and not have to experience it in person. Your pumpkin patch is looking yummy. I think orange is one color I have the least of. I wonder how something like that would look in blue .....

It looks so cold! I never liked it and am so glad I am in a warmer climate now. But, I am sure you just find it normal and what a great time to make some very interesting pumpkins!
