Guess what ....

......... I will be doing this weekend! My donation top is finished and batting scraps were pulled out and after some whip stitching together this top is ready for sandwiching and quilting.
My machine quilting will be simple .... I can't do anything fancy as I just don't know where to start. Really, either I just buckle down and do it or take a class.
Have a great weekend!

I'm curious to see how you quilt this since I just took my first class on machine quilting!! I'm starting out very basic but anxious to feel confident enough to do more. I'll be doing table runners on my Bernina 220 as I don't have a long arm. I like the top alot! Cindy

Great quilt for donation! I think that you will do just fine on this quilt with a simple quilting pattern. It will look fantastic, I am sure!

That has turned out so well. I'm sure you can quilt it - just shut your eyes, grit your teeth and go for it!

Gee, this is quite the quilt for donation but of course I think that about all your work so I'll be quite... shhh *karendianne. who will never tag you. :)

I do like that quilt - so bright and cheerful. Machine quilting is a real challenge for me too. I have the most trouble getting my tension right on the bottom when doing free motion work. Using the walking foot and doing what I have termed straight line quilting, I do ok. Good luck with yours - I am sure it will look great!
