Klosjes Quilting time

Here is a sneak peek of what my quilting looks like for my klosjes quilt. My goal is to enter this into Quilts Canada 2011 show that will be held in London, Ontario. Deadline for entry is Feb. 11, 2011. I have figured out that 5 blocks a day need to be done in order for me to finish by the end of January 2011 .... thus giving me a bit of a breather if one day that quantity is not met. So far, I'm on schedule. So, only time will tell how this turns out. Wish me luck!

Have a great day!

  5. I try not to covet, but I'm having a hard time with this one. I love it!! And I'm so glad you're hand quilting it. I had a similar deadline last year with my NYB and when it was over, I was so glad I stuck with it.

  9. considering we are supposed to get dumped on by a ton of snow this weekend, what better way to spend it than working on your quilt :-) I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you get it done in time.

  10. It is definitely going to be a stunning quilt. You can do it -- just think, with this bitterly cold weather, what better thing to do than curl up beneath a quilt and keep quilting it!!

  20. This is an especially lovely quilt, Rose Marie. I sure would like to know how you make those perfect circles. I was having fits over applique' berries this morning - frayed edges and anything but round shapes. :(
