Now that my red and white challenge is a top (sorry ... all my design walls are taken and you are seeing just a portion of the top), it will be put aside until it can be sandwiched. A number of you have asked about the size .... my blocks were increased from 6" to 9" and the quilt when finished will be perfect for a double bed. This is the next UFO that is being worked on ... my pinwheel quilt. You have seen it before in different stages, but it is coming together quickly now. There is only the bottom right section (where you can see all the orange row markers) to be assembled and then the triangle borders to be made and this top will be done too. Perhaps in another week .....
I really like the addition of the stripe border and then the scrappy reds!
ReplyDeleteLove all the red on your quilts posted today, Beautiful!

Thank you for sharing them both, Rose Marie!
Wonderful. What made you decide to make 9" blocks, if I might ask.
ReplyDeleteBoth red and white quilts are progressing nicely. I like to see ideas by other people that are working with red and white! I'd like to start something soon with that color scheme.
