Inspiration

When I'm hand quilting a big quilt (queen size) and it is taking too long, I do like to put the quilt on my bed to see how it will look once finished.
I just love to run my hands over the parts that have been quilted.
This photo shows how much has already been quilted and what is still left to do.
A close-up of my hand quilting.
Oh yes, I'm inspired once again to get on with it and do more hand quilting.  I have been doing a bit every day for the last week and it is starting to show a difference.  Any time spent on this quilt is good time.

Have a great day, eh!

  3. It is gorgeous! It is just too hot here to hand quilt on the big quilt I have in the hoop. I have chosen to hand applique til it cools off a bit.

  11. This is a great post! I love how you work thru the long-term process and you're sharing that AND I really dig your quilt pattern. I found myself contemplating how you come up with your designs while I was washing dishes last night. I like it when I drift into your imagination.
