Goodbye ....

...... Toronto (click here to see more about Toronto) and hello North Bay (click here to read about our new home).

We haven't lived in North Bay for over 30 years and it was time to make the trek back home.  Getting ready for selling our house and packing up has been very stressful but well worth the time and effort.

A new chapter is about to start for us.

We are excited about our move and hope to get settled in soon enough.  In the meantime, my blog will be down for most of June while we unpack and paint and ..... you get the picture!

I do have hand projects to work on when a break is required.  There are these hexagons to make ....

and some more Got Dots to applique ....

and there is a secret project that cannot be revealed at this moment.

So, see you all in a wee while ....

  1. Good luck with your move - it's probably difficult to believe that it's happening! We felt a slight sense of disbelief for a while about moving time, but settled in very quickly.

  4. Hi Rose Marie

Good Luck on your move. Will miss your blog, but look forward to hearing about your new home when you are settled.

We only moved two hours north of our old home eight years ago, but are enjoying our new surroundings
    very much.

Take time to rest, as you settle.

  5. Best wishes with your move. That is always such a challenge. We have to do that next and I do not look forward to it. Great looking projects going, as usual!

  6. Best of luck for the move. I have only driven through North Bay on my way through from Thunder Bay to Montreal and seem to recall it is where you get onto the Canadian Shield :-) I bet the weather will be a little different as will the wild life...all wonderful things to discover when you get there. Take lots of pictures and let us know how you get on once you are settled :-)
