This is my layout that will be done for the red/white snowball challenge. I have all the centre blocks done and just need to start sewing the white blocks on the outside. I changed the block size to 9" and by the time this is finished, it will be queen size. A number of quilters in the challenge are starting to layout their blocks and there are some different layouts being done. Sure am looking forward to seeing what everyone ends up doing.
For my Joseph's Coat, this is as far as it will get for now. I'm looking forward to the instructions for putting these blocks together. The pink you see is just the styrofoam board that is part of my design wall. I sure am loving the colours and the way they flow.
With all the leftover fabrics, I foresee a number of quilts with these colours.:o)
Have a great day and happy sewing!
Joseph's Coat sure is something to imagine. I am in love with this! What I luv about your Red and White Snowball Challenge Layout is the star-like secondary patterns that I could see as I let my eye rest. Oh I also love the white snowballs on the outside and, and, and the size!
ReplyDelete...so you have this, home improvements and Christmas, too, ha? Well, nothing like a good Challenge you always say!!! I think
I love the snowball quilt. Good luck with the bathroom - so near Christmas too, will it be done?

ReplyDeleteYour layout for the snowball quilt is great. What a lovely quilt that's going to be. I love the fabric combination you're using for the Joseph's Coat. It's going to have a very spring-like feeling to it!
ReplyDeleteOh your red and white quilt layout is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're staying busy- good luck with your painting :-)
The Joseph's Coat is really beautiful. I am really inspired to look into the directions for this quilt. I enjoy hand work and really need a colorful piece for the dark and gloomy days we are experiencing. Chris
ReplyDeleteLove the white snowballs around the outer edge. Very creative. One of the fun things about a group of quilters all doing the same project, is seeing everyone's different takes on it. Can't wait to see your finished quilt.
