A little bit different, eh! I just loved her applique star flowers in the border and adapted it slightly to suit me.
Yes, another top done ..... and this one is number 3! Our cool fall weather is fast approaching and I need to have projects for hand quilting to work on this fall and winter. It will sure be a hard choice of which one to work on! :o)
Have a great day!
Your quilt is beautiful. I love Kim Diehl's patterns. I am making the Passing Fancy. Not sure it is in the same book as yours. I hand pieced mine and hand quiting it now. Chris

Yours is beautiful. I really like the star flowers too. I have never done a pattern by Kim but I just bought her new book called Simple Comforts. I hope to start a quilt from this book next year.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous quilt, you did a beautiful job on the border. Now I can't wait to see what you're going to be hand quilting.

ReplyDeletegreat adaptation! Lovin' it! Kim Diehl's patterns are so great - easy to make a beautiful quilt just by following along and just as easy to make it your own as you go.
