Applique anyone?

This is the applique that I'm working on for my Humble Pie top. My leaves and stems have all been prepped, so this should go fairly quickly. Once this top is finished, I will show you the pattern by Kim Diehl and you will be able to see where I went on my own path.

Can you see a pattern developing with me? Am I bored and hopping from
one project to another or am I completing UFO's? Who knows .... but I sure am having fun.
With cooler weather just around the corner ... heck, who am I kidding .... we have had cool weather all summer ... anyway, I will have tops at hand for some hand quilting this fall and winter. Yeah me!
Have a great day!

  1. Yeah You is right! You are so lightening fast with applique. At this point in your life I imagine you've got a real system down so it goes rather smoothly for you.

You amaze and delight me. Oh and smooches to Hank and Ashes.

  2. Very nice applique - I have not tried the star looking flowers although seems like I am seeing them on a lot of blogs lately. Yours looks very nice. The pressed flower pattern in the previous post is very interesting - I would like to see the entire pattern.
