..... and since I do the erky jerky stitching so well, included that on the hearts (thus turning a negative into a positive )....
.... and did some stipple with loopies and once washed and dried, it is oh so crinkly and lovely.
Now is the time to send this little quilt off to a wee child in Italy who was affected by the devastating earthquake early this year. All the donated quilts will be given to children in September at the start of their school year.
Pattern source: EQ6 software helped me make this design.
The top finished at 54-1/2" x 63-1/2" and once all quilted up, washed and dried, the quilt is now 50-1/2" x 59-1/2". A loss of 4" all around. Interesting, eh!

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely quilt! I always like the way washing the quilt after quilting it makes it puff and crinkle. I am sure this quilt will bring comfort to the child who receives it.
