Enjoying my Winter quilt

This quilt has been stored away since it was finished back in April of last year. I have been waiting patiently to display this quilt and it sure is living up to its’ name as the weather here is very cold these days.

    I recall watching you make this one. It's beautiful, and something which strikes me now, is how cosy and warm that lil house looks.

    I think this one is my favorite because it tells a bit of your story, shares your favorite color, blue, that shines through in most of your quilts. I still have this idea in the back of my mind that I should make such a quilt. Thanks for helping me to remember.

    Your Winter quilt turned out so great. The wording, the icicle border, the heavy quilting all work together to create a one of a kind folk art quilt that conveys the feeling of a frosty winter.
