It is going to be a long haul ….. everytime I sit down to quilt, one of the kitties has to visit me. Hank has to make sure that the tension in my hoop is just right as well as giving my hands a lick down.
Once she goes away, Ashes comes around to make sure that what I’ve quilted is snuggle quality. Yep …. it is going to be a long haul trying to get this UFO finished before New Year’s Eve.
On the other hand, here is another block done. At least something got accomplished.
Have a great day!
Your blocks are beautiful! At least your cats know a great quilt when they see it and can't resist touching it!
ReplyDeleteoh you poor poor soul... to be so loved by your fur kids..LOL Nice quilt that is on your lap..what perty kids you'all have too.. I love your wonderful embroderie as well are they by hand or machine.. more details on your techniques!!
ReplyDeletehope that you have better success on your quilting...maybe your babies need their own quilt.. maybe they are hinting for early xmas gifts..LOL
Well, you certainly won't be cold while quilting! Between the darling kitties and the quilt itself, you'll spend the fall all warm and toasty. My George could heat a small room just with his own body heat :)
ReplyDeleteI can´t imagine how you get on with the quilting :) the cats must be heavy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the photos, I enjoy seeing them!
ReplyDeleteLooks perfectly normal to me, LOL, lap quilts for lap cats. :) Pretty quilt your stitching on there.
ReplyDeleteDon't they love to get on that lap.
ReplyDeleteI would toss the quilt over mine.....only have one to contend with and she would happily sleep under it.
Good luck with strategy, but don't you just love that furry warmth.
Oh my goodness I love to antics of Hank and Ashes. This is so much fun!!!
ReplyDelete...and yes, at LEAST you got something done today! ;> At least you created another stunning block. Sheesh.

ReplyDeleteIt is so wonderful the way our pets get involved in so many aspects of our quilting! Your quilts are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt will be a long haul to get the quilt finished as they cats are just too cute to shush away :))
ReplyDeleteThe stitchery block sampler is lovely. Good luck with finishing everything by January!
Looks like situation normal to me! I'm convinced that the added warmth of a layer of cat hair is what makes quilts extra special! LOL Lester and Smudge also like to take turns "helping" me quilt. After the cold weather we had last night I'm looking forward to it this winter!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Marilyn...your cats know a great quilt when they see one!!! I love the pics of you sitting in your quilting spot!
