Back in September, you saw a pile of sticks and some of you wondered what I was going to do with them.
The time has come to reveal my plans for them. That’s right …. they are in a vase and are my table decoration for winter. Do you see the snow in the bottom of the vase? At least this snow won’t melt. It is a quirky display, but I love it.
I’ve been tagged again for ‘You Make My Day’ award! This time, Peg nominated me. I think we should all be nominated. Why? Because we blog and we all have something interesting and inspiring to say and we make someone’s day, somewhere in this wide world that we live in.
Have a great day!
Well this is very pretty and umm...what about that quilt in the background. That sets that non-melting snow off pretty good dontcha think?
ReplyDeleteBeing silly, *karendianne.
What a gorgeous display!! Your home always gives off such a warm feeling.
ReplyDeleteI agree there are lots of girls that make my day as I am not sure we would still be here if no one responded and we had no one to visit.........
ReplyDeleteThat quilt on the wall have you shown that before? I love it, could it be that you like blue colours?
ReplyDeleteI agree! The vase and the snow and then sticks look great with the quilt! You are very creative!
ReplyDeleteI love your vase of sticks and snow. They look wonderful with that lovely quilt as a backgound.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing what you can do with sticks.....lovely display
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous display! The sticks and snow are absolutely perfect for this time of year! The quilt is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteA simple, yet very efective way of decorating! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteAnd that quilt in the background!!! Gorgeous!
Wonderful picture RoseMarie - love the quilt, and the arrangement is my kind of thing too!
ReplyDeleteJust added you to my blogroll here in snowy Nova Scotia - definitely not going out to break road today! Lots of quilting going on.

Such a pretty picture! I love the quilt in the background. It's a perfect display for winter.
ReplyDeleteWith that gorgeous quilt in the back you need something sparse. They go well together-very clever!
ReplyDeleteYou always decorate your home so nicely Rose Marie. Thanks for giving us a peek;-)
ReplyDeleteA lovely display! I can't wait (well, I can -- but you know what I mean) until I can put things like that out again. If I were to do it now -- um, can we say a nice weapon in the hands of a 2yo?
ReplyDeleteI like very much the background (quilt) of the photo!
ReplyDeleteI've been noticing how vibrant your blue quilts are and while I didn't set out to make a blue quilt, I seem to have acquired more blue fabrics...hmm, do you suppose it's due to a subliminal message transmitted from your blue quilts? Whatever is happening, it's all good!
