Location Revealed

In my last post, how many of you figured that the ‘or what’ would reign as the location?
How delighted I was to receive an email from my niece, telling me that she chose the launch of her first solo photography exhibit at a gallery to show not only her photographs but my quilt as well.

It was a true compliment from one artist to another!

It was a great day for both of us!

  2. My guess wasn't right! :) Your niece had a really good idea! Many people must have enjoyed seeing your beautiful quilt at the gallery. And the idea that you chose the "leaves" was very nice. The back of the quilt is as wonderful as the front. I love your quilts! I want to be able to make quilts like you someday! The pictures that your niece took are great!

  3. My guess was not right either, but it was a great location. Love the picture, and the photos in the background. Doesn't it just warm your heart to see a smile like that for the quilt you made?

  9. What a great reveal! Those photos behind her are beautiful -- though not as pretty as the smile lighting up her face!
