Tanya at http://tttl1998.blogspot.com/ Taniwa requested to see photos of my journals as she was interested in having one also to show her Mom. So, Tanya, this is for you! :o)
The photo above is my Blog Journal.
And, this is my Quilting Journal. The closed binder on the upper left, has my records of the first 50 quilts. The open binder is the start of my next 50. :o)
ciao, I didn't come on your blog for some days.... and today what a great surprise! The celebration quilt is Bellissimo and your JOURNALS are very interesting. ciao ciao
You might want to check out http://www.blurb.com I've been playing with their software (free) and had it slurp my blog. What fun! I think I'll have a book printed of my blog.
Thats a great idea to have a hard copy of all your blogging and quilting. That will be around to enjoy forever. And it is nice to have lovely pictures, such a pretty garden to have the quilts photographed in.
Thank you! Wow! You get a lot of information in your quilt journal! I wonder if I'd remember all that went on over the length of time it took me to make a quilt (I have trouble even remembering when I start them and sometimes they go on for years!) I think I'll try to print out a page or two of the blog and see if I can put them aside to show my mom. Thanks again!
What a great idea and how lovely for your mum to get see these.
ReplyDeleteI doubt I'll ever get up to 50 quilts. Well done!!
