Going through my scrap bins, I started pulling out strips to make this quilt. A great way to use up those scraps! As I sew a piece of scrap ..... I'm thinking that I will never use that piece again. This is my way of dealing with scraps because there are bins and bags still left to deal with. I'm thinking it might be time to do a purge and pass on some of my scraps to someone else to enjoy.

Cherish your day, cherish your life and cherish your country! My country will always be CANADA!
Elbows Up Canada, eh!
A great use of your scraps. The centre fabric in the blocks ties them all together nicely.
ReplyDeleteThat is a good scrapbuster design....problem is, it never uses as many scraps as you think it would!
ReplyDeletei love me a good scrap quilt and this is so colorful and cheery...very very nice...not "just a scrap quilt" at all...
ReplyDeleteGreat scrap quilt! I always cut my left-overs into 2.5 inch strips to make it easy to sew leaders and enders etc. My stash is slowly dwindling. I did do a major purge recently though and everything I parted with went to Project Linus or my quilt guild. I still have a mess though!
ReplyDeleteA lovely finish and a great scrap buster.
